Our new Penrose Recycling Facility in Auckland is set to revolutionise plastic recycling in the North Island. As part of the PRNZ joint venture between WM New Zealand and Aliaxis, this facility will provide a critical solution for uPVC and HDPE plastic waste, supporting a circular economy and reducing reliance on virgin materials.
We recycle a range of construction and industrial plastics, including:
Pipes, spouting, conduit, window frames, cladding (no flexible PVC)
Water pipes, drainage culverts, conduit (PE100 & PE80)
Triple-rinsed, cut in half
Our Penrose Recycling Facility will process both post-industrial and post-consumer plastic waste, turning it into high-quality recyclate resins. Our process ensures plastics are not downcycled but reintegrated into new manufacturing applications, particularly for pipes and conduits.
Limited on-site sorting – feedstock should be segregated before arrival.
Cleaning and breaking down plastics into uniform granules.
Transforming material into high-quality resins for reuse.
Aliaxis uses the recyclate for new uPVC and HDPE products.
We’re building a nationwide network to make plastic recycling easier.
Material can be delivered directly to Maurice Road for processing. Contact us to arrange drop-off and recycling options.
We’re working with WM New Zealand to establish regional collection and consolidation points in Auckland and Waikato.
We’re exploring mobile shredding options and collapsible stillage cages for easier transport and storage.
PRNZ was formed in 2022 with a clear goal: to reduce plastic construction and demolition waste by transforming it into high-quality recycled raw materials.

Yes, we are establishing regional collection and consolidation points in Auckland and Waikato with WM New Zealand.
Plastics are shredded, washed, granulated, and pelletised into high-quality recyclate resins for new manufacturing applications, particularly pipes and conduits.
Maurice Road aims to process 3,900 tonnes per year within three years:
