We recycle two types of PVC (polyvinyl chloride):
It's a rigid, durable plastic commonly used in construction for windows, doors, and plumbing pipes. It’s valued for its weather resistance, low maintenance, and energy efficiency.
mPVC (modified) - Look for “mPVC” printed on pipe.
mPVC is a version of PVC that has additives for increased flexibility and impact resistance. This makes it ideal for products like wiring insulation, flooring, and flexible pipes.
Cleanliness matters: If you can wipe it clean, it’s good to go. If not, a quick water blast should do the trick.
Why? Extra items might lead to additional disposal charges. By following these simple steps, you’re helping us recycle more efficiently and effectively.
HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is a durable, lightweight plastic commonly used in construction, water infrastructure, and packaging. It is valued for its strength, resistance to chemicals, and recyclability.
To ensure high-quality recycling, all HDPE must be free from fabric, tape, and excess dirt. We do not accept electrofusion or compression fittings, PEX, or multilayer products with a metal inner layer. Only MDPE and HDPE pipes are accepted—no LDPE with drippers.
Size requirements:
PRNZ recycles HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) and PE (Polyethylene), including MDPE (Medium Density) and PE80/PE100 grades.
